GOVERNORS’ AWARD SCHEME
A number of means tested awards are now available to candidates who would otherwise be unable to afford to come to the School.
They are available to pupils entering Year 4, Year 7, Year 10 & The Sixth Form and will be awarded to candidates demonstrating achievement in the areas of Academic Work, Sport, Music & Art.
All awards are assessed on the basis of parental financial circumstances, and can be very substantial.
The Music Awards include free tuition in one musical instrument.

In addition to the above we also have the following
SCHOLARSHIP & ASSISTED PLACE
A senior school scholarship award of one term’s fees will be available to the candidate who achieves the highest marks in all three of the entrance tests taken in January. A further two means tested assisted places, each worth up to one term’s fees, are also available.
A Christian Bursary worth up to one term’s fees is available to candidates proposed and recommended by their minister or priest and is non-denominational
The above awards are retained for the duration of the pupil’s time in the senior school up to the age of 16, provided that the pupil maintains a high standard of conduct and contributes fully to the life of the school.
