Another nerve-racking performance against Cartmel Priory, who had a particularly a strong year 10 girl. At one point we led by just three points!
Well done to Amy, Antoni, Nathan Powell and Olivia McFarlane who finally scored 327 against Cartmel’s 283.
We are through to the semi- final on Tuesday 27th March. Venue to be confirmed
Our annual Carol Service this year will take place in the School Sports Hall Marquee on Tuesday 12th December, 7.15pm. As usual there will be a wonderful variety of readings, musical and choral performances and congregational carols. The marquee will be filled with Christmas trees especially decorated by your children in celebration of this event and the coming season.
After the service, there will be wine/juice and mince pies followed by an opportunity to take part in a grand auction of the trees and decorations.
Due to anticipated high demand, this event will be ticketed (free of charge) and tickets will be given on a first come, first served basis. They are available from the school office now.
Please note that children involved in the Carol Service (e.g. choir or readings) will not require a ticket.
There will be limited standing room at the back of the marquee should all tickets go. A reminder email will be sent when tickets are running low.
The Carol Service is one of the most important dates in the school’s calendar and pupils who attend should wear full school uniform.
I look forward to seeing you there.
