Years 1 and 2 made some Christmas puddings with Mrs Brewer. This was to celebrate “Stir Up Sunday” which is held on the Sunday before Advent. On Open Day, Years 1 & 2 got together to make cakes and decorate biscuits. We used a nice easy recipe which the Year 2 children had to read and then everyone took turns with the weighing and mixing. Kindergarten & Reception children spent the day learning about road safety. Each child brought in a scooter or bike and they tackled some obstacle courses in the playground. A donation of £2.00 per pupil was made towards the charity Brake.

Year 6 spent an exciting morning testing their driving skills in Furness College’s Greenpower Goblin car. Scot Wilson, a lecturer at the college, worked with the children to attach the side panels which they had designed and then set out a challenging driving course on the Primary playground.
