Chetwynde School GCSE Results
Chetwynde School is delighted to see our year 11′s achieve a splendid set of GCSE results with 82% of them achieving at least a 4 in English and 70% achieving at least a 4 in Maths. Although all subjects achieved good results, particular mention must go to the Separate Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) with 100% gaining a C grade or above. We are exceptionally proud of all of our students, many of whom only joined us in the last two years, but special mention needs to go to Heather Aitken (8 A*, 2 A grades), Liam Edgley (7 A*, 2A and 1B), Ben Atkinson (5 A*, 4 A and 1
B), Connie McMahon (3 A*, 6 A and one B), Isaac Holmes (4 A*, 4 A and 2 B) and Abbie Knowles (1 A*, 7 As and 2 B). Our academic success goes hand in hand with the exceptionally good behaviour and pastoral care highlighted by our recent Ofsted inspection. Hard work, good results and exceptional behaviour start in our primary school and continue into Year 7 where ten places are still available for this September.
