Extra-curricular Music

Chetwynde pupils are encouraged to participate in music making from a very young age and our extensive extra curricular programme is enthusiastically supported.

We have two orchestras and four choirs and they continue to flourish alongside a wide range of smaller ensembles from string groups to folk bands and our very own tango band, Chetango. Our music students are proud to represent the school at fundraising events for the benefit of the wider the community.

Individual singing and instrumental lessons are delivered by our team of dedicated peripatetic staff.
