Information Technology

 

ICT skills are increasingly relevant in today's world and have become an essential study tool. The IT department is committed to ensuring that all pupils achieve competence and confidence in standard office applications and are able to use the internet efficiently and responsibly.

 

Pupils in years 7-9 follow a programme of study which prepares them for the CLAiT and CLAit + courses taken by pupils in years 10 and 11.

 

More able pupils are given the opportunity of  taking a short course GCSE in this subject and in the sixth form students are able to opt for A Level ICT.
