Extra-curricular Speech & Drama
Speech and Drama is an extra curricular activity enjoyed by many pupils here at Chetwynde.
The children are introduced to a wide range of prose, poetry and plays, and whilst the emphasis is on fun and the enjoyment of performing literature and creating improvisation, the children learn to speak clearly with expression and confidence to develop an important life skill.
Trinity Hall examinations are optional and childen who wish to be entered are prepared for grades 1-8. Results are always pleasing with most children awarded merits or distinctions. Certificates are proudly received on Speech Day
