Modern Foreign Languages
Our purpose is to instil an enthusiasm and passion for language learning whilst promoting the values of tolerance and understanding of other cultures.
The study of modern languages is both intellectually stimulating and enjoyable through the use of a wide range of techniques and resources, so that pupils can respond vigorously and independently. Pupils develop the skills, habits and attitudes that will support them in their study, work and leisure.
French, German and Spanish are offered and all pupils continue with at least one MFL to GCSE level.
Cultural visits and work experience programmes further enhance their studies.
