Sciences

Our Science Department informs, stimulates and challenges pupils of all abilities and  provides them with opportunities to develop and enhance their scientific knowledge.

Pupils are encouraged to be inquisitive and through a process of research, experimentation and analysis will develop skills of investigation and a wider interest in scientific matters.

The study of Sciences for GCSE commences in Year 9.  At Key Stage 4 most of our pupils are entered for all three separate GCSE Sciences, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

All other pupils also study all three disciplines and are entered for GCSE Science and GCSE Additional Science.

In the Sixth Form students are offered the opportunity to follow all three sciences at AS Level and at A Level.
