Information Technology
Chetwynde School has two main ICT rooms for curriculum use and a drop in centre for Years 11 and above. We run a Windows network with a mixture of all-in-one pc’s and desktop machines. There is a wireless network which currently covers the science laboratories, library and sixth form.
Every pupil is provided with a network account, filtered internet access and an email account. They also have access to Microsoft Office and a wide range of educational software.
The ICT department is committed to providing a vibrant environment in which pupils are trained to become skilled members of the digital age.
