Pastoral Care
There is a committed and experienced team of tutors led by male and female heads of lower and upper schools to oversee pastoral care and matters of discipline. Students are issued with planners to encourage them to organise their time well and to enable easy and regular communication between home and school. It is these strong, positive links between the students, the parents and the school which enable us to ensure every student is content within the Chetwynde environment and happy to voice issues if they arise.
Chetwynde also provides many opportunities for students to gain positions of responsibility within the school, including being elected on to the School Council. There is also a strong and active Prefect body which enables students to develop their leadership and teambuilding skills. These responsibilities foster participation, diplomacy and confidence.
