General Information
Chetwynde Summer School was established in 2006 and has rapidly gained a reputation for providing an unparalleled range of productive holiday activities for children between the ages of 5 and 15.
Parents can enrol their children on a course safe in the knowledge that they will be well cared for in a safe and secure environment where they will develop new skills, make new friends and above all have a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The courses have been carefully selected so that there is something to suit all ages, interests and abilities and all are delivered by professionals in their field.
General Information
VENUE: Chetwynde School, Rating Lane, Barrow- in -Furness
TUITION COSTS: The cost of each course is detailed in the relevant section and includes a morning drink and snack, full lunch, and an ice-cream in the afternoons. A vending machine is available for the purchase of additional snacks.
DEPOSIT: A £50 (non - refundable) deposit is required to secure a place on any of the courses. Please send a cheque, payable to “Chetwynde Summer School”, with the booking form or when you register through this site.
Acknowledgment of your booking will be sent by e-mail wherever possible.
BALANCE: Must be paid in full by 1st June if you want to be certain of your child’s place. A reminder will be issued in May along with any additional information required for the course.
CANCELLATION: Should you need to cancel after full payment has been made, your money will only be refunded if there is a waiting list and the place can be filled. We reserve the right to cancel any course if there are insufficient applications, in which case you will be notified by 1st June and all monies will be refunded.
DURATION: Unless otherwise stated registration for all courses will be at 9.00am and the days will conclude between 3.30pm and 4.00pm. You will be given exact times with confirmation of the booking. There will be provision, at an additional cost of £2.50 per day, for children to stay in school up until 5.00pm.
TUTORS: All tutors are experienced, professional people who have been selected for their enthusiasm and ability to work with children of varying ages and abilities. All are committed to ensuring your child has an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Places on all courses are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
