The Head of Key Stage 3 and the Head of Key Stage 4 oversee pastoral care and matters of discipline. They lead a committed and experienced team of form tutors who work hard to ensure that each student feels supported, nurtured and happy. It is the strong, positive links between the students, the parents and the staff which enable us to ensure every student thrives at Chetwynde.
Chetwynde also provides many opportunities for students to gain positions of responsibility within the school, including being elected on to the School Council. There is a strong and active prefect body which enables students to develop their leadership and team-building skills. These responsibilities foster participation, diplomacy and confidence adding much to the holistic education we seek to offer our students.
